जाके बल से गिरिवर कांपे

jaake bal se girivar kaanpe

By whose strength the great mountains tremble

रोग दोष जाके निकट न झांके

rog dosh jaake nikat na jhaanke

near whom no disease or fault dares come

अंजनि पुत्र महाबल दाई

anjani putra mahaabal daai

Son of Anjani, giver of great strength

सन्तन के प्रभु सदा सहाई

santan ke prabhu sada sahaai

ever the lord and helper of the saints

दे बीरा रघुनाथ पठाए

de beera raghunath pathaae

Given the betel of charge, sent forth by Raghunath (Rama)

लंका जारि सिया सुधि लाए

lanka jaari siya sudhi laae

you burned Lanka and brought back news of Sita

लंका सो कोट समुद्र सी खाई

lanka so kot samudra si khaai

Lanka's fortress with its moat wide as the sea

जात पवनसुत बार न लाई

jaat pavansut baar na laai

the son of the wind crossed without a moment's delay

लंका जारि असुर संहारे

lanka jaari asur sanhaare

Burning Lanka, you destroyed the demons

सियारामजी के काज सँवारे

siyaraamji ke kaaj sanwaare

and accomplished the tasks of Sita and Rama

लक्ष्मण मूर्छित पड़े सकारे

lakshman moorchhit pade sakaare

When Lakshmana lay fallen unconscious at daybreak

आनि संजीवन प्राण उबारे

aani sanjivan praan ubaare

you brought the Sanjivani herb and saved his life

पैठि पाताल तोरि जमकारे

paithi paataal tori jamkaare

Entering the netherworld, you broke open the gates of death

अहिरावण की भुजा उखारे

ahiraavan ki bhuja ukhaare

and tore off the arms of Ahiravana

बाईं भुजा असुर दल मारे

baaeen bhuja asur dal maare

With your left arm you slew the hosts of demons

दाहिने भुजा संतजन तारे

daahine bhuja santjan taare

with your right arm you delivered the saints

सुर नर मुनि जन आरती उतारें

sur nar muni jan aarti utaaren

Gods, men and sages perform your aarti

जय जय जय हनुमान उचारें

jai jai jai hanuman uchaaren

crying out: victory, victory, victory to Hanuman

कंचन थार कपूर लौ छाई

kanchan thaar kapoor lau chhaai

On a golden platter the camphor flame glows

आरती करत अंजना माई

aarti karat anjana maai

and Mother Anjani performs the aarti

जो हनुमानजी की आरती गावे

jo hanumanji ki aarti gaave

Whoever sings this aarti of Hanuman ji

बसहिं बैकुंठ परम पद पावे

basahin baikunth param pad paave

dwells in Vaikuntha and attains the supreme state

लंक विध्वंस किये रघुराई

lank vidhwans kiye raghuraai

Rama, lord of the Raghus, brought Lanka to ruin

तुलसीदास स्वामी कीर्ति गाई
