Meaning
Om. May Ida, the invoker of the gods, may Manu, the leader of the sacrifice, may Brihaspati, reciter of the hymns of praise,
proclaim these; may all the gods, of true-spoken words, and Mother Earth,
not harm me. Sweetness I shall think, sweetness I shall be born into,
sweetness I shall speak, sweetness I shall utter,
a honeyed speech, worthy to be heard, I shall raise up to the gods,
and that same speech, to humankind.
May the gods protect me for glory; may the ancestors rejoice with me.
Om. Peace, peace, peace. (The Chamakam, and Sri Rudram in full, ends here.)
