शीश पे छत्र विराजे,मूरतिया प्यारी।
sheesh pe chhatra viraaje, moortiya pyaari
गंगा बहती चरनन,ज्योति जगे न्यारी॥
ganga bahati charanan, jyoti jage nyaari
Meaning
A canopy rests above Your head; how dear Your image is.
The Ganga flows at Your feet; a light unlike any other burns there.
verse 2
ब्रह्मा वेद पढ़े नित द्वारे,शंकर ध्यान धरे।
brahma ved padhe nit dware, shankar dhyan dhare
सेवक चंवर डुलावत,नारद नृत्य करे॥
sevak chanwar dulaavat, narad nritya kare
Meaning
Brahma recites the Vedas daily at Your door; Shankar holds You in meditation.
Attendants wave the sacred whisk; Narada dances before You.
verse 3
सुन्दर गुफा तुम्हारी,मन को अति भावे।
sundar gufa tumhaari, man ko ati bhaave
बार-बार देखन को,ऐ माँ मन चावे॥
baar-baar dekhan ko, ai maa man chaave
Meaning
Your beautiful cave delights the heart beyond measure.
O Mother, the heart longs to behold it again and again.

भवन पे झण्डे झूलें,घंटा ध्वनि बाजे।
bhavan pe jhande jhoolen, ghanta dhwani baaje
ऊँचा पर्वत तेरा,माता प्रिय लागे॥
ooncha parvat tera, mata priya laage
Meaning
Flags sway above Your abode; the sound of bells rings out.
Your high mountain, O Mother, is dear to us.

पान सुपारी ध्वजा नारियल,भेंट पुष्प मेवा।
paan supaari dhwaja naariyal, bhent pushp mewa
दास खड़े चरणों में,दर्शन दो देवा॥
daas khade charanon mein, darshan do deva
Meaning
Betel leaf and areca nut, a flag, a coconut, flowers and dried fruit are offered to You.
Your servants stand at Your feet; grant us Your sight, O Goddess.
verse 6
जो जन निश्चय करके,द्वार तेरे आवे।
jo jan nishchay karke, dwaar tere aave
उसकी इच्छा पूरण,माता हो जावे॥
uski ichchha pooran, mata ho jaave
Meaning
Whoever comes to Your door with firm resolve,
their wish is fulfilled, O Mother.
verse 7
इतनी स्तुति निश-दिन,जो नर भी गावे।
itni stuti nish-din, jo nar bhi gaave
कहते सेवक ध्यानू,सुख सम्पत्ति पावे॥
kahte sevak dhyaanu, sukh sampatti paave
Meaning
Whoever sings this praise night and day,
says the servant Dhyanu, gains happiness and prosperity.
